Sedimentation is an art installation composed of 8 cylindrical glass vessels. Each glass vessel is filled with water, and a strip of magnetic tape is submerged inside. Hidden above the vessels are motorized stirrers. At random intervals, the motors activate, gently rotating the water and pushing the tape into a swirling, dance-like motion. The piece explores memory: how it is stored, retrieved, and transformed in the digital age.
